A Way out
The next morning we woke up and as usual the cyclopes let his herds out but he had to feel round the cave to know where they were. But what he did not know was that me and my remaining men were tied to the underneth of the sheep. I had held the big head ram back for he was the easiest to tie yourself onto. But when the ram ran past the cyclopes the cyclopes held him back and said " You are the leader of the herd. The first to leave the cave each morning and munch the juciy grass yet today, when all the others have gone you stay to keep me company." In the end he let the ram go and within seconds I was gulping in fresh air and the light was blinding. I couldn't help myself I shouted back to him and said "Polyphemus it was not nobody who blinded you. It was the great Odysseus who did the deed!
