A price for passage!!!!

We were safe and we saw over the horisen the rocky island of the six headed monster. I did not tell my men what awaited us I just told them to steer as close to the rocks as possible. I put my armor on ready to kill the beast and then we saw the whirlpool and we rowed as far away from it as possible. As we were looking at the whirlpool the beast struck and each one of her heads picked up one of my men they screamed and I turned round. She slipped back into the tower of smoke. We were all upset and then we saw an island with cattle grazing on it but no sign of human life. I then remembered Tiresias's warning!!!!
